Digital Conveyancing Maturity Index – Our conveyancing team rank in the top 3 in the UK

InfoTrack, a specialist Legal Technology provider and a pioneer in the creation of specialist digital conveyancing software, has conducted the first-ever Digital Conveyancing Maturity Index.

The survey assesses all the key stages of conveyancing, including onboarding, pre-completion, post-completion, onboarding new clients, and effective and seamless integration into Case Management Software (CMS) to manage conveyancing matters.

Over three hundred law firms and conveyancers across the country participated in the survey, including members of the Law Society, the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC), Bold Legal Group, LawNet, and The Conveyancing Association.

The comprehensive survey by InfoTrack is the first of its kind across England and Wales. It gives an insight into the level of digital advancement in the conveyancing sector and means conveyancers can benchmark themselves against their peers to get a clear picture of how well they are doing or how much further they still need to go.

Sam Jordan, InfoTrack Chief Operating Officer said of the survey: “The overall industry average score suggests a lot of firms are still in the early stages of their digital conveyancing journey. However, we did see some exceptionally high results. The biggest concern here is some firms’ speed of adoption of technology in the pre-completion stage. It’s the bulk of the conveyancing work and the area that’s the least digitally mature.”

“The results, which revealed an average digital maturity score of 43%, highlight “the continued need for awareness around digital solutions that can significantly benefit conveyancers.”

Bell Lamb & Joynson ranks in the top three!

Whilst the report highlights opportunities for legal firms to embrace digital practices more, we are thrilled that Bell Lamb & Joynson ranked in the top three most digitally mature law firms in the UK, with a score of 92.9%. We also ranked number two for the category of medium-sized law firms (26-199 employees).

Over the past few years, our strategic focus has been to harness technology to ensure clients experience a smooth and straightforward journey when buying or selling their property with us.
