- You or someone you know has just been arrested or invited to the police station for a voluntary interview under caution;
- You are on bail and/or are facing investigation; or
- You have an upcoming trial in the Magistrates Court or Crown Court.
Our police station representation service is free of charge because you are entitled to legal advice while in police custody. This is the case whether you have been arrested or invited for voluntary interview.
In both types of situation, we can travel to be by your side, usually within 45 or minutes or less (the only factor that affects our response time is distance). So, whether you need advice in or around Merseyside, or you are somewhere else in the UK, do not hesitate to get in touch.
We advise that you do not answer police questions about an alleged offence until we are by your side because anything you say could be used as evidence to charge and prosecute you. This includes if you have been invited to a voluntary interview – these meetings are not as ‘casual’ as the police want them to sound.
We take steps to try to speed up any investigation, challenging the evidence and the police’s reasons for suspecting you at every turn.
Our help often means the difference between a guilty or not guilty verdict for our clients.

We can help you put in place a Power of Attorney to enable the people you trust the most to make decisions about your finances and/or personal welfare when you need them to. We know that costs will be an important factor to you, and we are completely upfront about our fees (which can usually be taken from the deceased person’s estate). For more information, visit our price list.
We can also offer a free 30-minute meeting to discuss probate and what needs to be done. You can then decide whether to proceed with our help or whether you may be able to handle the estate administration by yourself.
