Laura joined Bell Lamb & Joynson in 1989 and has built an impressive career through the firm's long-standing commitment to investing in its people. Qualifying as a Fellow of Chartered Legal Executive in 2012, she has developed extensive experience across all areas of residential conveyancing, including remortgages, shared ownership, new build, leasehold, buy-to-let and complex property transactions.
In 2017, Laura became Head of Conveyancing and was appointed Partner in July 2020. Following the continued growth and success of the department, she now serves as Head of Conveyancing Operations, providing strategic leadership across the firm's conveyancing teams. Her role focuses on operational excellence, compliance, innovation, process improvement and the delivery of exceptional client service.
Over the years, Laura has played a key role in establishing Bell Lamb & Joynson as one of the UK's leading conveyancing firms, helping to drive growth, embrace legal technology and develop high-performing teams. She is passionate about supporting the next generation of conveyancers and creating a culture that combines outstanding client care with operational efficiency.
Laura is widely recognised within the legal and property sectors. In 2024, she was named Female Trailblazer of the Year at the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards, recognising her contribution to the profession and her success in leading award-winning teams.
Alongside her role at Bell Lamb & Joynson, Laura is an active voice within the conveyancing industry. She regularly chairs and speaks at national conferences, participates in industry panels, contributes to discussions on innovation and best practice, serves as a judge for industry awards, and co-hosts the Bricks & Banter podcast, sharing insights and experiences from across the property sector.
