Chris is a Conveyancer at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, advising clients across a wide range of residential property transactions. With over 17 years of experience in Conveyancing, Chris brings a calm, knowledgeable and practical approach to matters that are often significant milestones for clients.
He joined Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors on 8 August 2024, having previously worked at Burys Solicitors, and is a highly experienced member of the Conveyancing team.
Education and Qualifications
Chris is currently studying towards his CLC qualification through the Law Training Centre as part of his ongoing professional development.
Professional Experience and Background
Chris has worked in Conveyancing for more than 17 years, building extensive experience across residential property matters. His career has included handling a broad range of transactions, from standard residential sales to high value and complex matters.
Before joining Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, Chris worked at Burys Solicitors, where he further developed his expertise in managing demanding transactions and meeting tight deadlines.
Areas of Work
Chris advises on all areas of Conveyancing, including freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters.
He has experience acting on high value transactions in excess of £1 million, mortgagee in possession cases requiring fast turnaround, and has previously acted for a professional footballer.
Approach and Client Care
Chris understands that every client and transaction is different. With many years of experience, he is able to adapt his approach depending on the client’s needs while always remaining calm and straight talking.
He places strong importance on clear communication and keeping clients informed if issues arise, providing realistic timelines where possible. Chris is mindful that buying or selling a property is often one of the largest transactions a client will undertake and ensures they feel supported throughout the process.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family. With two children aged seven and ten, his spare time is often busy. He also enjoys reading and follows his local football team, Tranmere Rovers.
