Our Charity Partners 2026
Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors are proud to announce our charity partners for 2026, which we will be supporting through The Bell Lamb & Joynson Foundation.
Launched in February 2025, the Foundation was created to give back to our local communities in a meaningful way. Through grants, fundraising and volunteering days, we aim to support individuals and families facing real challenges, whether that is illness, grief, addiction, financial hardship, disability or barriers to social mobility.
As part of this commitment, we have selected four charities to work with throughout 2026. Each one represents causes that matter to our team and the communities we serve:
The Owen McVeigh Foundation
Supporting children across Merseyside living with cancer and their families. Their work focuses on creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories, bringing moments of joy and normality during incredibly difficult times.
Weapons Down, Gloves Up
Providing young people with a positive outlet through boxing and fitness. Their work helps guide individuals away from violence and towards discipline, structure and opportunity.
The Paul Lavelle Foundation
Raising awareness of male domestic abuse and offering support to those affected. It is a cause that does not always receive the attention it deserves, and one we are proud to stand behind.
Admiral Sports Academy
Creating opportunities for women and girls in football, helping to build confidence, skills and a strong sense of community through sport.
Why This Matters to Us
These partnerships are more than just financial support. They reflect the values of our people and the role we want to play in the communities around us.
In particular, we have worked closely with The Owen McVeigh Foundation for a number of years. Following their support to one of our partners and her family during their son’s cancer diagnosis, we have seen first-hand the impact their work has on families facing incredibly difficult circumstances.
Being able to support all four organisations, including through recent grants from The Bell Lamb & Joynson Foundation, is something we are incredibly proud of.
What’s Next
Throughout 2026, we will be supporting each of our charity partners through fundraising, volunteering days and ongoing awareness. We look forward to sharing more about the work they do and the impact these partnerships will have over the coming year.
We already have a number of initiatives underway across the firm. This includes our upcoming LawNet Challenge, where members of the team will be walking through the Yorkshire Dales to raise money for The Bell Lamb & Joynson Foundation.
Alongside this, our people have been getting involved in fundraising activities within the office, from World Book Day and dress down days to bake sales, all contributing towards the Foundation and the work of our charity partners.
Getting Involved
Our people are given paid volunteering days each year, allowing them to support charities and community groups that matter to them, including those who reach out directly to the Foundation.
All fundraising across the firm is directed into The Bell Lamb & Joynson Foundation. This allows us to provide grant funding to local registered charities through an application and trustee selection process.
If you would like to apply for funding, please email: bljfoundation@bljsolicitors.co.uk
Grant applications open on 1st October each year and close on 30th November, with successful applicants announced in January.
Please note:
- Funding is available to registered charities only
- We are unable to respond to unsolicited requests outside of this process
