Bell Lamb & Joynson Recognised at the Modern Law Awards 2026

Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors is celebrating success at the Modern Law Awards 2026, after being recognised with three Highly Commended awards on the evening.

The firm was shortlisted in four categories:

  • Law Firm of the Year (Medium)
  • Business Growth Award
  • Crime Team of the Year
  • Managing Partner of the Year – Mike Leeman

Bell Lamb & Joynson received Highly Commended recognition in the following categories:

  • Law Firm of the Year (Medium) – Highly Commended

  • Crime Team of the Year – Highly Commended

The Modern Law Awards recognise firms, teams and individuals from across the legal sector who are demonstrating strong client service, innovation and operational excellence.

The recognition reflects a significant period of growth and development across the firm, including continued investment in technology, expansion across the North West and ongoing improvements to client experience and operational processes.

The Highly Commended recognition for Crime Team of the Year also highlights the strength and reputation of Bell Lamb & Joynson’s Criminal Defence department, which continues to support clients across a wide range of matters while maintaining a strong commitment to accessible and client-focused representation.

Mike Leeman, Managing Partner at Bell Lamb & Joynson, was also shortlisted in the Managing Partner of the Year category, recognising his leadership during a period of continued growth and progression for the firm.

The evening brought together firms and professionals from across the UK legal sector to celebrate achievement, innovation and excellence within the profession.

Martha is the firm’s Head of Marketing and leads Bell Lamb & Joynson’s marketing strategy, digital presence and content across all departments. She joined the firm in 2024 as the firm’s first in-house marketing professional before becoming Head of Marketing in 2026
