Bell Lamb & Joynson Celebrate Success at the LawNet Awards 2025

Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors are proud to have been recognised at this year’s LawNet Awards, which took place during the LawNet Annual Conference at Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales.

The event brought together leading law firms from across the UK to celebrate achievement, innovation, and excellence within the legal profession.

One of the evening’s highlights was the announcement of Talitha Shandley, Solicitor within Bell Lamb & Joynson’s Private Client department, as the winner of Early Career Lawyer of the Year.

This award recognises lawyers who have made an outstanding contribution early in their careers through professional skill, client care, and personal development.

Since joining Bell Lamb & Joynson in June 2022 as a Private Client Paralegal, Talitha has demonstrated exceptional dedication and passion for helping clients plan for the future. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2024 and now advises clients on a wide range of matters, including Wills, Probate and Estate Administration.

Talitha’s hard work has already received industry recognition; in 2023, she was shortlisted for Best Paralegal at the Modern Law Private Client Awards.

A graduate of Nottingham Trent University, where she achieved a 2:1 in Law LLB, Talitha went on to complete her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School before beginning her career in Private Client law. Prior to joining Bell Lamb & Joynson, she worked at a Nottingham-based firm as a Private Client Advisor.

Bell Lamb & Joynson were also delighted to see their Accounts Team shortlisted for Business Support Team of the Year, recognising their invaluable work in maintaining the firm’s efficiency, compliance and client service standards across all departments.

Managing Partner Mike Leeman commented:
“We’re incredibly proud of Talitha for her achievement at this year’s LawNet Awards. Her professionalism, empathy and commitment to clients have made her a huge asset to the firm. We were also pleased to see our Accounts Team recognised – their dedication and teamwork are central to the firm’s success.”

With offices across Liverpool, Maghull, Runcorn, Warrington and Ashton-in-Makerfield, Bell Lamb & Joynson continues to build on its 200-year history of providing accessible, people-focused legal services to clients across the North West.
