Making Strides for Justice: Bell Lamb & Joynson Joins the Liverpool Legal Walk

Some of the team, together with Trixie the doggo, donned our walking shoes and took to the streets of Liverpool on Tuesday the 10th of October.

We joined a gathering of over 25 law firms, law centres, local university law faculties, chambers, and other supporters for the annual Liverpool Legal Walk. The goal? To raise much-needed funds for the advice sector and make a real difference in our community.

The Liverpool Legal Walk is not just a stroll; it's a stride for justice. The funds raised go towards critical initiatives that:

  • Prevent families from facing the harsh reality of homelessness.
  • Combat destitution, ensuring that no one falls through the cracks.
  • Enable older individuals to access the support they rightfully deserve.
  • Provide support for women and children who have experienced trafficking for domestic servitude or prostitution.

We were also joined by Trixie the doggo, who added a wagging tail and some extra paws to the cause.

The 5-kilometer journey began at The Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts, winding its way through Liverpool's streets, and concluded at the Lady of Mann pub. It wasn't just about the walk; it was an opportunity to recharge, relax, and connect with fellow walkers. After all, a shared purpose makes for great conversation and new friendships.

The Liverpool Legal Walk isn't just about raising funds; it's a symbol of the legal community's commitment to access to justice. It's a reminder that together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of those in need.

It was a beautiful autumn evening in Liverpool, and walking for justice is not only a noble cause but also a whole lot of fun, especially when you're surrounded by friends and colleagues who share your passion.
