Amy is a Contentious Wills and Probate Assistant at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors. Drawing on a diverse professional background spanning education, and client support, Amy brings empathy,and professionalism to every client interaction, particularly during emotionally challenging disputes.

Amy holds an MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Nottingham, specialising in mathematics and particle physics. In addition, she holds both Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Qualified Teaching and Learning Skills (QTLS), alongside extensive continuing professional development in safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.

Having joined Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors in June 2026, Amy transitioned into the legal sector following several years working within education and the charity sector. During this time, she managed high volume caseloads, developed accessible documentation, and supported vulnerable individuals with sensitivity and professionalism.

Amy's approach is client centred, focusing on explaining complex processes in accessible language while ensuring transparency, accuracy, and responsiveness. She strives to ensure every client feels heard, informed, and supported at every stage of their matter.

Throughout her career, Amy has managed caseloads involving more than 350 clients, developed national level documentation and training materials, and delivered high quality support to some of the country's most vulnerable families.

This breadth of experience has equipped her with exceptional organisational skills, empathy, and the ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism and care.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Amy is passionate about supporting others and tutors mathematics to students facing systemic barriers to education. She also enjoys singing in a local choir, crocheting, and spending quality time with her partner, young son, and family dog.
