Professional Experience and Background
Rhiana first joined Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors at the age of 18, beginning her career as a Receptionist. After four years, she moved into the telecommunications sector, working for Tesco Mobile within the O2 call centre for six years. This experience strengthened her confidence, communication skills, and ability to manage high volumes of client contact using multiple systems.
After having her son, Rhiana returned to Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors and has now been back with the firm for nearly ten years. She has worked within the New Business team throughout this time and feels this is where she performs at her best, enjoying the pace of the role and daily interaction with clients.
Areas of Work
Rhiana regularly deals with residential property enquiries, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. She supports clients at the enquiry stage and helps ensure matters are progressed smoothly from the outset.
Her role involves managing a busy workload while maintaining a personal and consistent approach to client care.
Approach and Client Care
Rhiana’s approach to client care focuses on building genuine rapport and maintaining clear communication. She believes speaking with clients by phone is often more effective than long email chains and helps create trust early on.
She is mindful that buying or selling a home can be a sensitive experience and takes time to show empathy and reassurance where needed, particularly when clients are dealing with personal or emotional circumstances.
Awards and Recognition
In 2025, Rhiana was voted ‘Social Butterfly’ by her colleagues at the BLJ Summer Party, reflecting her positive presence and strong relationships across the firm.
Outside of Work
