Millie Broadbent

Trainee Solicitor

Millie joined Bell Lamb & Joynson in May 2022 as a Paralegal and qualified as a Solicitor in July 2025. She is now a Solicitor in our Family team.

Millie works closely with Partner Suzanne Daley and Senior Family Paralegal Gemma Stenson, assisting on public law children matters including care proceedings. She also manages her own caseload.

Millie graduated with a Law degree from Leeds Beckett University in 2021. After joining Bell Lamb & Joynson as a Paralegal in the Family department, she secured a Training Contract with the firm, which commenced in January 2024 and concluded in July 2025. During this time, she developed a strong interest in family law and gained valuable experience across a wide range of matters.

Millie finds family law particularly rewarding and values the opportunity to support clients through difficult and sensitive situations. She enjoys the variety of the role and the fact that no two days are ever the same.

Prior to joining Bell Lamb & Joynson, Millie spent a year working as a Legal Assistant in the Personal Injury department at Slater and Gordon Solicitors, where she gained a solid foundation in client care and case management.

Outside of work, Millie enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
