Katie Rae

Katie is a Customer Service Representative at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors and works as part of the New Business team. She supports clients at the earliest stage of their legal journey, handling new enquiries and helping ensure matters are progressed efficiently and directed to the appropriate department.

She joined Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors in November 2024 as part of her first step into a long term legal career, with a particular interest in crime and family law.

Education and Qualifications

Katie studied at Priestley College, where she completed her A Levels, a BTEC qualification, and achieved all of her GCSEs.

Professional Experience and Background

Katie has around four years of experience in customer facing roles. Prior to joining Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, she worked at Chris Rudd Solicitors in an Office Manager role, where she gained experience supporting legal teams and managing client interactions.

Her background in client facing work has helped her develop strong people skills, effective time management, and the ability to manage a busy workload, all of which support her role within the New Business team.

Areas of Work

Katie mainly supports family law enquiries and lasting power of attorney matters, with increasing exposure to crime related cases as her role continues to develop.

Her position allows her to build valuable experience across multiple areas of law while supporting clients who are often dealing with difficult circumstances.

Approach and Client Care

Katie takes a calm and welcoming approach when working with clients, while also being clear and direct when explaining next steps. She understands that clients may be in challenging situations and aims to provide reassurance alongside clear structure and guidance.

Her focus is on ensuring clients feel supported while also confident that there is a clear plan in place.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her son, who loves exploring the outdoors. She and her partner enjoy travelling and discovering new cities and countries together as a family. Katie also enjoys reading and listening to podcasts, which provide a welcome break from a busy day to day routine.
