Trainee CILEX Paralegal
Emma is a Trainee CILEX Paralegal at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, working within the Family team. She supports clients through a range of family law matters, helping them navigate what can often be emotionally challenging situations with care and understanding.
She joined Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors in January 2024 and is continuing to build her experience within the profession, with a clear focus on developing her career in family law.
Education and Qualifications
Emma studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she achieved a BA (Hons) degree in History. She is currently progressing her career within the legal profession as a Trainee CILEX Paralegal.
Professional Experience and Background
Emma will have nine years’ experience in the legal profession in July 2026. Since joining Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, she has continued to develop her knowledge and skills within family law, supporting both colleagues and clients across a range of matters.
Her experience has helped her build a strong understanding of the practical and personal challenges clients can face during family proceedings.
Areas of Work
Emma regularly supports matters relating to children, finances and divorce. Her role involves assisting with case progression and ensuring clients feel supported throughout each stage of their matter.

Emma takes a supportive and empathetic approach when working with clients. She values a personal approach and understands the importance of listening carefully to individual circumstances to provide reassurance and clarity during difficult times.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, Emma volunteers with the Scout movement, reflecting her commitment to community involvement and supporting others beyond her professional role.
