Business Administration Apprentice

Kate is a Business Administration Apprentice at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, supporting clients across the firm's departments while developing her knowledge of the legal sector. As one of the first points of contact for many clients, she plays an important role in ensuring every enquiry is handled professionally, and with care.

Kate studied at Ormiston Chadwick Academy, where she completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise. Her education helped her develop valuable skills including communication, organisation, teamwork and resilience, all of which she applies within her role at Bell Lamb & Joynson.

Before joining the firm, Kate gained three years of customer service experience in the hospitality industry. Working in a fast-paced environment strengthened her ability to communicate confidently, remain calm under pressure and deliver excellent customer care. These transferable skills have enabled her to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike as she begins her career within the legal profession.

Working across the firm's various departments, Kate regularly assists with enquiries relating to conveyancing, criminal law, family law, private client matters and disputes. This broad exposure allows her to develop an understanding of the firm's full range of legal services while ensuring clients are directed to the right team quickly and efficiently.

Client Care

Kate believes that every client should feel listened to, supported and treated without judgement. She approaches each interaction with patience, empathy and professionalism, helping to put clients at ease from their very first contact with the firm. She understands that contacting a solicitor can often be stressful, and she aims to make the experience as reassuring and straightforward as possible.

Outside of Work

Outside of the office, Kate is a semi-professional rugby player and has a passion for sport and fitness. Playing rugby has strengthened her teamwork, discipline and determination, qualities that continue to support her professional development and her approach to delivering excellent client care.
