Anna McLaughlin
Marketing Assistant
Anna is a Marketing Assistant at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, supporting the firm’s marketing activity across social media, PR, email marketing, content creation, events and digital communications.
Originally from Portrush in Northern Ireland, Anna moved to Liverpool to study Politics and Communications at the University of Liverpool and enjoyed the city so much that she decided to stay after graduating.
Before joining Bell Lamb & Joynson, Anna gained experience across both journalism and marketing. She worked as an Assistant Reporter at the Liverpool Echo, developing her skills in writing, storytelling and creating engaging content for different audiences. She later returned to Northern Ireland to work as a Marketing and PR Executive at Stormont, before making the move back to Liverpool.
Having considered pursuing a career in law herself, Anna saw the opportunity to combine her interest in the legal sector with her passion for marketing at Bell Lamb & Joynson.
In her role, Anna supports a wide range of marketing activity across the firm, including social media, public relations, email marketing, content writing and creation, and event planning. She particularly enjoys the variety of the role, with every day bringing something different and plenty of opportunities to be creative.
Anna enjoys developing new ideas and contributing to the continued growth of Bell Lamb & Joynson’s in-house marketing function, while learning more about the different areas of law and the people behind the firm.
Approach & Marketing Philosophy
Anna particularly enjoys the creative side of marketing and the opportunity to turn ideas into engaging content and campaigns.
Her background in journalism and PR has given her a strong interest in storytelling and communication, and she enjoys finding interesting and accessible ways to share the work, expertise and personalities of people across Bell Lamb & Joynson.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, Anna is an avid reader and, despite living in an increasingly digital world, remains firmly on the side of physical books over Kindles.
She is also an accomplished Irish dancer, having competed and performed across Europe and as far afield as Canada. If that wasn’t enough Irish tradition, Anna can also play the harp.
When she isn’t reading, dancing or playing music, Anna enjoys going out and spending time with her friends.
