Mounika is a member of the Contentious Probate team at Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, supporting clients through complex and often sensitive disputes relating to estates and inheritance. With a strong academic background and experience within private practice, Mounika works closely with the team to help clients navigate emotionally challenging matters with clarity and care.
Having joined Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors in March 2026, Mounika brings a thoughtful, compassionate and practical approach to Contentious Probate work, with a clear focus on understanding each client’s individual circumstances.
Education and Qualifications
Mounika studied Philosophy at Western University in Ontario, Canada, where she achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree. She later went on to study Law at the University of Birmingham, graduating with an LLB (Hons).
This academic background supports a strong analytical approach, clear reasoning skills, and an ability to consider both legal and personal factors when working on complex disputes.
Professional Experience and Background
Before joining Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors, Mounika worked at MSD Solicitors in Manchester. During this time, she gained approximately one and a half years of experience working in Family law before transitioning into Contentious Probate.
This background has provided valuable experience in dealing with sensitive legal matters and supporting clients during difficult periods, which now informs her work within Probate disputes.

Mounika regularly assists with a wide range of Contentious Probate matters. This includes Will Disputes, inheritance claims, challenges to the Administration of Estates, and Disputes involving Executors or Beneficiaries.
She supports cases from an early stage through to resolution, helping clients understand their options and the legal process involved.
