Bell Lamb and Joynson are the oldest criminal solicitors in Liverpool Established in 1821. Joe Woodyatt is a specialist criminal solicitor within the department. Joe joined Bell, Lamb & Joynson Solicitors in 2016 after working as a criminal clerk and police station representative at Linkskills solicitors. He started a training contract shortly thereafter was admitted as a solicitor in June 2018. Joe has over 5 years experience of dealing with Criminal Law and is a key member of the Criminal Department who are in the top 20% of criminal solicitors in England and Wales in the volume of criminal defence work it conducts.
Since joining the firm, he has been dealing with Criminal Law matters in Cheshire, Sefton, Liverpool and beyond. Joe is an advocate who regularly appears in the magistrates court and a police station accredited representative. Joe is working towards becoming a higher court advocate later in year after recently undergoing his higher rights qualification.
Joe provides advice and assistance in Police Station Interview and other interviews under caution. He is able to assist both legally aided and privately paying clients in a wide range of Criminal Matters.
Away from criminal law Joe enjoys all sports especially football, just don’t ask him about his football team! He plays football himself on a Saturday afternoon for a local football team in Liverpool and has aspirations to bring a sports law department to the firm in the near future.
