Family Law Specialist in Liverpool

Suzanne is a family law specialist and heads our Family Law team.

Suzanne completed her Legal Practice course at the College of Law in York before returning home to Liverpool where completed her training at a prestigious Family Law Firm in Liverpool City Centre.

Suzanne qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and has exclusively practised family Law within Liverpool since this time. Suzanne joined the Family department here at BLJ in 2012 and became a partner soon after.

As a member of the Family Law Panel Suzanne is experienced in all aspects of Family Law, Suzanne prides herself in her professional yet approachable style and ability to guide clients through what are often complex and emotional proceedings.

Following her successful application and admittance to the Children’s Panel in 2014, the quality mark for legal professionals working in family and children law,

Suzanne has built a practice predominantly specialising in representing the interests of parents, Grandparents and children, through their court-appointed Guardian, in Care Proceedings and other matters involving the Local Authorities

Suzanne routinely deals with complex matters, her cases have included non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse, fabricated and induced illness. Suzanne undertakes her own advocacy in all tiers of the Family Law Courts in Liverpool and the Northern Circuit

Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband and young son watching Thomas the tank engine and frequenting various soft play centres around the region.
