WENDY EVES LLB
 
Qualified as a Solicitor since 1997, after working in the Civil Service and the banking industry. She was articled to the firm and returned to work in the Walton Vale office in 2000 and was made a partner in 2004.

Wendy specialises in all aspects of Family Law including divorce, domestic violence, care proceedings, contact and residence disputes, financial matters and co-habitee disputes. She has many years experience of representing parents and children, and dealing with many clients with special needs and/or learning disabilities.

She has represented clients in a wide range of matters including care proceedings where serious non-accidental injury or death has been a feature; contact disputes where one parent is preventing the other from having contact to a child; ancillary relief where a matrimonial home, business and pensions are at risk; injunctions where there are very serious allegations of domestic violence; and, disputes between co-habiting couples, particularly where there is jointly owned property.

Wendy is a supervisor for work carried out under the Legal Aid scheme and has worked on several cases classified as VHCC (Very High Costs Cases)

Wendy is a member of the Law Society’s Advanced Family Panel and a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel. She also signs to BSL Level II to assist deaf clients.

Wendy attended grammar school in Nottinghamshire and completed her degree at Liverpool John Moores University. She is married with two children and her interests include travel, walking and reading.

BLJ Mediation was privileged to recently welcome Jonathan Djanogly MP to their Mediation Suite in Liverpool. The Minister is a passionate supporter of Mediation and was responsible for assisting the Government’s decision to ensure the public had better information and access to Mediation.

The Minister expressed his pleasure when able to witness an Information and Assessment Meeting taking place with our Mediator, Pat Davies.
