| Mike first worked for BLJ part time in 1994 as a police station advisor and criminal clerk to help fund his degree at Sheffield Hallam University and the Legal Practice course at the University of Sheffield. In 1996 he returned to Merseyside and started his training contract at the Walton Vale office qualifying as a Solicitor in 1998.
Mike remains based in Walton Vale and became a partner in 2001. Mike is a Higher Court Advocate enabling him to represent clients in all criminal Courts, Magistrates and Crown Courts. Mike deals exclusively with criminal and motoring cases and has acquired vast experience in cases from simple speeding to complex fraud and high profile murders.
Away from the office Mike is a sporting fanatic, plays tennis competitively for Upton Tennis Club on the Wirral and is often found in his local gym when not ferrying his son between football, tennis and cricket activities
