LAURA CARTWRIGHT

I am a long term member of staff having worked for Bell Lamb & Joynson in excess of 20 years starting as a Legal Secretary for the now Senior Partner – Jim Marshall. After 15 years employment I was given an opportunity of becoming a fee earner in the Conveyancing/Wills and Probate area of Law. After two years in this role I decided to put my skills and knowledge to the test and enrolled on the ILEX course. Two years on I have just completed ILEX Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law & Practice. I have recently enrolled on the ILEX Level 6 course and over the next two years I will be specialising in Criminal Law, Law of Wills and Succession, Land Law and Conveyancing. Hopefully thereafter I will be a qualified Legal Executive going on to be a member of FILEX.

Having worked in a Solicitors office for well over 20 years I have plenty of legal experience and knowledge and I am aware that first and foremost the Client’s best interests and confidentiality are very important and that a good service and value for money is what Clients expect.
